The 411 [12 Jan 2008|08:59am]
Melanie Grace Krasner was born in the lovely city of San Antonio, Texas. Her parents loved her very much and treated her like a princess, like every parent treats their baby girl. Only diference with Melanie's parents was that they raised her to be a perfect lady. One that has wonderful manners and never does anything that isn't approved by her parents or an elder person. For years, she acted like a lady and never questioned it. She went through school being that way and she made friends with girls who wanted to be a lady like her, so they could impress their parents. Stacey liked this, even though she wished for friends who didn't want to be like her.

In the seventh grade, she met Rebecca. A girl who was wild and did what she wanted. Her parents let her do this and it was something that Melanie admired about her. They became friends and soon, Rebecca brought out the wild side of Melanie. Although, she only showed her wild side while out with friends, never in front of her parents. If her parents knew how she acted in public, they would be ashamed and tell her she's brought shame upon herself and the family. Rebecca and Melanie continued to cause trouble where ever they went until freshman year of high school. This was the year Stacey's parents decided to split. Stacey went with her mom back to Los Angeles, California. This is where her mom had grown up and she wanted to make it home again. Melanie's one brother, Chad, stayed with their dad, and seperated in the family into boys and girls.

Starting high school in a new place was a hard thing. Melanie had to make new friends and get to know the town all at the same time. And to make things a little more stressful, Melanie was constantly flying back and forth between dad and mom. She loved each city and both parents, but it was a pain to keep up with school. This added pressure to her life because she wanted to make her life the way it was back in San Antonio. This could not be done overnight and it struck like lightning when Melanie finally figured it out during her sophmore year. Now that it was time to start a new life, her wild side decided it wanted to come out more than it had back home. One day while out shopping, her mom finally saw her daughter's other side and was shocked. She could not believe her little girl wasn't her little girl anymore. After that day, Melanie's mom stayed in her room, with the exception of going to work, and didn't talk to her for a few days. When she finally spoke to Melanie, they talked about it and agreed to never let her dad know how she has changed. So now, in the eyes of her dad, she's the little lady that he had raised her to be. Of course, she's a perfect lady in front of her teachers and other older people around town.

After a few years in her new home, Melanie recieved a phone call from Chad. Her dad was going to remarry in a few months. This was shocking news to her, and her mom. They could not believe her dad had moved on at the speed he did. Sure, her mom had gone out with guys since moving here, but they hadn't lasted long enough to be considered the marrying type. So, the two went to the wedding and Melanie even stood up in the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and Melanie even cried during it. Of course she didn't know too much about Jill, her step-mom, she knew her dad was happy with her and that was all that mattered. After the wedding, her mom was a little upset about the marriage. She started talking more and more about wanting to get re-married. Eventually, a year after her dad's marriage, her mom found Mr. Right and got re-married as well. John, her new step-dad, was a pretty nice guy, even came into the relationship and marriage with his own daughter of a previous marriage. Claudia, Melanie's new step-sister, was a beautiful girl and the two got along just great. They became best friends and went off to UCLA together. After a semester, Melanie decided that UCLA wasn't the place for her. So she convinced her mom to let her go across the country to Hampton University. This was another new place that let her reinvent herself. Melanie always felt that a person should reinvent themselves every so often. She still a freshman, but she's still enjoying life.
